Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside company that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies any results. Loudon County Criminal History does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us may be retained long enough to review and answer it. Messages remain within the organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.

Loudon County Criminal History does not build, maintain, or sell a database of personal criminal records. Its content identifies official access routes through Loudon County Sheriff Records, local court clerks, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, and the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry. Visitor information is not turned into a third-party record or consumer report. The website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. Their privacy terms, retention periods, and disclosure practices govern data submitted through a tool. This policy does not control those providers. Review the provider's terms before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to a sheriff, court, state agency, legal resource, or third-party search service. Once a visitor follows an outbound link, the destination's privacy policy applies. Check that policy before sharing personal information.
Some advertising providers may measure activity across websites to select ads. Their systems conduct that tracking.

Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be available to:

The Tennessee Public Records Act, TCA §§10-7-503 et seq., governs access to covered government records, while TCA §§40-39-206 through 40-39-207 governs publication and termination rules for Tennessee registry data.
